Robert
Carmichael focuses his practice on land use and zoning,
natural resources, and municipal law. He regularly represents
area businesses, water and sewer districts, and municipalities
on complex land use and environmental issues. Bob has
often spoken at seminars for other lawyers on these topics.
He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley
(Phi Beta Kappa, 1980) and the University of Washington
Law School (1983), and served as a Whatcom County Senior
Deputy Prosecutor in both the criminal and civil divisions
before joining the firm in 1992.
